On the occasion of thanksgiving I present you this sweet delight called 'Shahi Tukda".
Things You will need: Bread (4 Slices), Butter (4 Tablespoons), Milk (250-350 ml), Cardamom Powder (Just a pinch), saffron (optional) and pistachio Nuts (25 gms).
Instructions.
1. Heat Sugar and Milk together.
2. After boiling add 1 spoon butter and stir till it is reduced to half. Take care that milk does not boil this time.
3.After the milk turns a bit thicker and creamy, turn of the heat and add cardamom powder and pistachios to it. You can also add saffron if you like.
4. Heat rest of the remaining butter and add bread to it. Cook till the bread slices turn golden-brown.
5.After frying the bread ad it to another mixture of sugar and hot milk.
6. After the bread pieces absorb enough amount of the milk, take them out and carefully add them to the prepared mixture of milk that we made in the beginning.
7. Keep the slices on service plate, garnish with more pistachios and silver paper and refrigate for few minutes.
And you are done with a delicious sweet snack!
